Animal Assisted Therapy
Animal-assisted therapy invites you to engage with horses and other animals through guided, ground-based activities in a natural setting. Each practical session is followed by a reflective discussion, helping you explore your personal process in relation to the animals’ behavior and reactions.

This hands-on, non-judgmental approach offers deep insight into how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence both yourself and your relationships. By gaining new perspectives and heightened self-awareness, you can practice positive changes in a safe environment and integrate them into everyday life.
Why horses?
Horses’ size and power naturally encourage you to face fears and build confidence—skills you can then apply to other challenges. Like humans, horses are social, emotional creatures: they experience seeking, fear, rage, panic, care, and play. Learning to establish trust and rapport with a horse also strengthens your capacity for healthy human relationships.
As prey animals, horses constantly read intentions. Their instinctive, honest feedback reveals your underlying emotions and behaviors. When you notice and adapt your responses during a session, a horse will mirror those changes—offering immediate, genuine confirmation of your growth and helping you consolidate new coping strategies.
